Effects of Organic Fertilizer Supply on Soil Properties, Tomato Yield, and Fruit Quality: A Global Meta-Analysis

The increased use of chemical fertilizer input in agricultural production and the promotion sustainable agriculture encourage researchers around globe to undertake experiments regarding application organic fertilizers on tomato production. This study aims amalgamate comprehensive effects compared with pure (100% CF) soil properties, yield, fruit quality through meta-analysis. It helps provide a certain reference for development circular systems planting. Articles related impact planting were searched Web Science, Science direct, Google Scholar. A total 124 documents meeting Meta-analysis criteria screened out. 2041 sets data properties (electrical conductivity, pH, matter, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, ammonium nitrate available bacteria, fungi, urease, catalase) yield (nitrate, sugar, lycopene, protein). normal fitting response ratio each revealed that all them satisfied Gaussian curve, there was no publication bias. (the total) 100% CF can increase by 3.48%, acidic (pH < 6) 7.98%, neutral = 6~8) 3.35%, matter 24.43%, nitrogen 32.79%, phosphorus 23.97%, potassium 44.91%, 14.46%, 16.21%, bacteria 5.94%, urease 22.32%, catalase 17.68%. had significant effect fungi soil. After subgroup analysis, bio-organic (BF) 14.15%, reduce electrical conductivity 13.66%, activity 24.55%. Ordinary (OF) improve quality, 13.02%, sugar 10.66%, lycopene 10.78%, 39.55%, 29.11%, 58.67%, 6.54%, 25.41%.
